Scrappy is a Detroit area, born & raised rapper who has been performing for audiences since the tender age of 9. His musical background starts in his 6th grade music class playing keyboards and gitting invoved in the musicals. By the time Sccrappy reached high school he was writing his own music and playing bass guitar in various rock & punk bands. After a handfull of personal mistakes land him in legal trouble, Scrappy re-focuses on his goals of writing music and getting his life together.... but things don't always go as planned.

While fighting for, and being awarded custody, Scrappy would put music on the back burner to concentrate on family. that would not be the last we hear from Scrappy. With his personal issues addressed and a new found inner strength, Scrappy would return to the music scene as a drummer for a local punk rock band called "Parallax". Scrappy and Parallax would spend the next 14 months performing at any venue that would let them play, performing at some of the best and worst venues in the Detroit area, somtimes pre-selling 100+ tickets per show!
Not satisfied, Scrappy felt he was meant to be a rapper/song writer/producer, so he pursued his love for hip hop music. He would spend the next 36 months writing music, refining his skills, and performing his solo material at some of the premier venues in the detroit area including Emereald theatre, Clutch cargos, St. Andrews hall, and more! During this time Scrappy has developed an email list of well over 10,000 people and has generated over 1,000,000,000 plays on his myspace profile. The only thing more diverse then Scrappy is his influences, from pantera and tool to cutis mayfiels to spice 1 and 2pac. It's this combination of diversity, hard work, and experience thats has molded this unique MC's style and is why Scrappy is the next evolution of hip hop.
Now Scrappy has his record label working, his recording studio is dropping hits every single day and his internet radio stations' following is growing more then anyone could have hoped for! So you would think that would be enough for Scrappy right!.... well you'd be wrong, this is only the begining! Get ready!
